Sometimes the sites with the most restrictions can be the most fun to design. This can be said for Albina One, where the landscape must capture over 12 feet of grade change and make it accessible to the public.The affordable housing facility features a switchback ramp, entry courtyard and a play space. Bright, color-blocked furnishings and large swaths of grasses are used to compliment the large scale murals from inside to outside the building.
